TIES

1. Ties on the main track as well as on the siding shall be placed 22-inches center-to-center.

2. Ties shall be placed no greater than 20-inches center-to-center under all joints.

3. All ties shall be dressed with the west side taken as the dress side.

4. Ties shall not be placed in position with a spike maul.

5. All joint tie spacing shall confirm to Sketches 1a and 1b.
